Passenger Vessels

In addition to building steel, mono-hulled passenger ferries, Gladding-Hearn delivered the first high-speed, passenger catamaran for service on the Great Lakes in 1987. Since then, the shipyard has built more than 40 Incat Crowther-designed all-aluminum fast ferries – from small water taxis to 600-passenger vessels – best known for their speed, comfort, sea-keeping and reliability.
