Tug Boats
Having built more than 100 tugs, barges and dredge tenders for organizations like Ellicott Dredges, Perini Corporation, and the government of Bermuda, Gladding-Hearn’s five-tug fleet for Wilmington Tug includes America’s first Z-drive tractor tug, delivered in 1977. The latest tug boat for the Delaware-based ship-handling company, designed by Robert Allan Ltd., has a bollard pull of 60 tons.
